Do I know enough to decide?

People do read. They skip fluff, not substance. Criteria asks whether the page answers everything this customer needs to know to decide — to buy or not to buy.

The objection test: what question would make this customer open a new tab to Google it? Each one is a criteria gap.

look for

lenses: clarity, friction

  • images — angles, zoom, in use, a sense of scale
  • specs — materials, dimensions, compatibility, in a consistent, scannable place
  • variants — clear options, a size guide where the choice is made, out-of-stock obvious
  • price — the total cost, shipping included
  • proof — rating + count near the title, reviews from people like this customer, filterable (negative ones too)
  • risk — shipping, delivery date, returns, and payment options near the CTA, not just in the footer
