Ep.14 Joe Bagazinski from Solo Stove

august 5, 2022

What you’ll hear in this episode:

[ 1:08 ] What is it like to be a Website Product Owner

[ 7:06 ] How Project Good created an Aha! Moment for Joe

[ 9:53 ] Strategy 1: Loyalty Program

[ 11:03 ] Strategy 2: Keep Customer Service engaged

[ 12:29 ] Strategy 3: Always be testing and optimizing your website

Business people tout the importance of listening to the customer, but most of the time they are talking to the customer rather than listening to the customer.

So it impressed me to learn how Joe and the team at Solo Stove go out of their way to listen to their customers.

And that level of customer engagement changes a business.

It changes the mindset. It puts the customer front and center. Employees are not just going through the motions, but they have real people in their mind when they are coming up with new ideas or innovations.

At each step, whether they are building a loyalty program or launching a social media campaign, the customer is involved.

So has that changed their business?

Well, as Joe tells us… he joined Solo Stove 3 years ago. There were 20 employees. Today they are over 300 employees.

The proof is in the pudding.
